How many remotes do you have around your house? I know I have way to many of them and the funny thing is I can never seem to find one when I need one most. With that said however, I always know where my iPhone is at all times. That is were ThinkFlood RedEye Mini adapter comes in handy.
RedEye mini offers the power of ThinkFlood’s proven RedEye technology, but in a convenient travel size. Use RedEye mini with your iPhone , iPod Touch or iPad at home, work, with friends and family, or while on business or pleasure travel to control your TV, stereo, cable box, DVD player, and many other devices that receive standard infrared (IR) signals.
Dork Stuff
- Powerful – Harness activity-based control and a channel guide on your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to interact with your gear from up to 30 feet away.
- Portable – Complete with its own carrying case, RedEye mini is made for home or travel. No batteries required – RedEye mini plugs into your device’s headphone jack, leaving the charging connector open.
- Affordable – Get advanced features at a fraction of the price of other advanced remotes. Bundled with an IR code database and interactive channel guide at no additional cost.
I can’t wait to get my hands on one of these things this spring. For the money (Under $50) you will not be able to find a better deal / universal remote. The RedEye mini allows you to fully customize the interface, in theory have an unlimited number of devices (TVs, VCRs, etc.) stored, use Apple’s iPhone multitouch / accelerometer to control stuff and since the adapter uses software from the iTunes App Store you know it will always be up to date with the latest info.
Availability: Spring of 2010
